Do you remember how much you used to love a big snowfall when you were a kid? It meant that you could get the sleds out and, if the snow was just sticky enough, you could also hope to build an igloo or make a beautiful snowman!

This winter, why not stay young at heart and introduce your children or grandchildren to the tradition of the first snowman of the season.   Adults, teenagers or toddlers, there is no age limit to build a snowman.

So, take advantage of the days when the conditions are perfect to let your imagination run wild and impress your neighbors. By perfect conditions, we mean sticky snow halfway between wet and powder. If it is too dry, you can always gently spray the snow with water and let the water soak through the snow layer.
