Tribute to the master restorers
Last fall, Leclerc Insurance and Silver Wheel launched a program to honour the work of master restorers of vintage vehicles and their outstanding contribution to the preservation of our automotive heritage.
The first recipient of the program, Mr. Michel Ouellette, received a commemorative plaque on the occasion of a ceremony held in his workshop of l’Île Bizard, North West of Montreal.
The exceptional restoration work of Michel Ouellette has been underlined; he gave new life to a rare 1924 Cadillac Roadster, only one of two known to exist.
The owners of the Cadillac, André de Montigny and wife Céline Meloche, shared with participants their fascinating experience, while telling the unique story of this car.
